Ten CIA grads talk about automotive design careers in three new videos

Alumni working at Chrysler, Ford and GM interviewed

Ten CIA Industrial Design graduates answer two key questions in a new series of films exploring CIA’s influence on contemporary automotive design:

  • What’s it like to be an automotive designer?
  • How did CIA help you become one?

The films, by videographer Jeff Mancinetti ’09, were recorded in Detroit in late 2013 and give an overview of CIA’s longstanding relationships with Chrysler, Ford, and GM.

The Chrysler video features Joe Dehner ’88, Dan Zimmermann ’96, Nico Vardis ’99, Bill Zheng ’00 and Irina Zavatski ’01. The Ford video features Eric Stoddard ’98 and Chris Mikalauskas ’13. And the GM video features Kirk Bennion ’84, Jonathan Janke ’11, Aaron Riggs ’12 and Brian Stoeckel ’09.
