Assistant Professor Scott Ligon will demonstrate some tricks from his book Digital Art Revolution at MOCA Cleveland on June 9, 2010.
Scott Ligon, a digital artist, author, filmmaker and Cleveland Institute of Art Assistant Professor, will demonstrate some tricks from his book Digital Art Revolution: Creating Fine Art with Photoshop at MOCA Cleveland on Wednesday, June 9. The book was released in March.
Digital Art Revolution goes beyond simply using Photoshop to alter photographs or imitate various historical painting styles; instead, Ligon teaches readers how to use the software as an expressive tool to develop their own unique style. The progressive structure of the lecture and book appeal to a broad audience - from the eager beginner just learning Photoshop tools to the technically advanced digital artist looking to expand the possibilities of the medium.
