Sixteen Cleveland Institute of Art team members helped raise funds for breast cancer research and education in September 2010.
Under the team name Creativity for the Cure, 16 CIA faculty, staff, and family members participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in downtown Cleveland to raise funds for breast cancer research and education. Of the 16, six team members ran a 5k race and 10 walked a 5k. Mark Inglis, vice president of marketing and communications, designed the team’s t-shirts. The team enjoyed camaraderie and perfect running and walking weather for the Sept. 11, 2010 race, with sunny skies and temperatures in the low 70s.
