CIA Students + Alumni Showcase Work at F*SHO

Current and former design students create contemporary furniture for the 3rd annual furniture show.

CIA students and alumni wowed attendees at the F*SHO, a regional furniture show that features the work of 18 local contemporary furniture designers. The F*SHO is the largest contemporary furniture show in Cleveland.

Current industrial design students John Prybor '12, Pete Whitworth '12, David Picket '12, Calvin Tabor '12, Sam Li '12, and Sheng Chieh Chang '12 exhibited work that was created last school year.

2nd Shift, a company comprised of CIA alumni, displayed work among a dozen other designers. Sam Cahill '10 (industrial design), Eric Parker '10 (industrial design), Maynard Payumo '10 (industrial design), Trevor Marzella '10 (communication design) along with fellow designers, friends Chris Comella, Brian Jameson and Andy Carcioppolo debuted 2nd Shift at the F*SHO.

"At CIA I took classes beyond my major, which helps me collaborate on 2nd Shift and work on every aspect, whether it be designing our display, business cards and information packets to the furniture we sell," says Trevor Marzella.
